we had a wonderful stay at the raven. everyone was super friendly and invited us to join the carol singing and quiz on arrival. our king studio was clean, cozy, and well-equipped for self-catering. the views of the church opposite were stunning too!

Had a wonderful stay with friends! We enjoyed hiking along Offa's Dyke Path and visiting the fantastic fishing lakes of Llyn Gweryd. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was handy for making snacks. The community vibe was great, and the quiz night was a fun surprise.

While the pub had excellent home-cooked food, there was a bit of a wait during busy times. Make sure to plan accordingly, especially if you're really hungry after a long day of hiking.

The beds were too soft for my liking. an upgrade is definitely due. A 5 PM check-in felt a bit late, and the lack of food availability outside specific nights was inconvenient. You'll need to either plan around this or arrange for delivery since cooking options are limited to what's in the kitchenette.
